Hospitals and Hamas

Image
We hear it all too often in the ongoing Hamas-Israel conflict: "Hospitals must be protected!"  "An assault on a hospital is a war crime!!"  One would ordinarily agree with that assessment; though such demands are only made against Israel for military strikes near hospitals in Gaza.  I would like to draw your attention to the destruction wrought at a hospital during this conflict-  Examine these pictures well.  Take a moment to reflect on the destruction and devastation that has been inflicted on this hospital; and then ask yourself:  Who on earth would dare do such a thing to a hospital?  That's a war crime! No, these photos are NOT from Gaza.  They are, in point of fact; pictures from the Barzilai Medical Center (hospital) in Ashkelon, Israel.  This hospital was struck by multiple rockets from Hamas in Gaza from October 7th to the 11th; far removed from the situation in Gaza.  Yet has the World community come together to condemn H...

Try that in a Small Town?

Image
It would appear that the radical progressive agenda has a new target this week- country music artist Jason Aldean.  Recently the music video for his song "try that in a small town" was launched and subsequently pulled from CMT; upon claims that it incited racial violence and racism.  Now unlike most people who have taken to social media and written articles about this, I actually took the time to LISTEN to the song that was performed.   Honestly, there isn't anything remotely objectionable to a person of common sense, apart from mild language that some might object to (i.e. derogatory word for human excrement).   What I find objectionable is not this song itself or even the accompanying video that was made for it; but the reaction from the radical left-wing progressive fanatics who see racism in every corner and behind every door.  They claim that the song is racism because it glorifies standing against criminal violence; but the artist never onc...

Emmett Till and the death of Scrutiny

Image
This past week, a woman in Louisiana died at the age of 88.  Now in and of itself that may not be a newsworthy notice, the woman in question- Carolyn Bryant Donham, is known the world over as the woman whose accusations led to the murder of Emmett Till in 1955.  All the world over today, people are celebrating the fact that she is deceased, and proclaiming their desire that she burn in hell for her lies and causing the death of that young man so many years ago.   What I find truly ironic, is that this "I hope she burns in hell" mentality is overwhelmingly coming from the same cabal of hypocritical leftists who have been chanting "believe all women" for the past several years.  But it does raise a necessary talking point to true change that is needed in society today- should we always and everywhere take someone at their word when they accuse another person of horrific and violent crimes?  Should we, as the leftists say, just take a woman at her word w...
