Dodgers of Morality and Common Sense

Today, the LA Dodgers baseball team made headlines, re-inviting an LGBTQ(etc) organization to their pride night after having previously un-inviting them due to the fact that the group in question has made a name for itself (since 1979) by openly mocking and defaming the Christian faith, Catholicism in particular.   That group, the "Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence", is a group of mainly men who dress in drag-inspired parodies of Nun habits, with white caked-on makeup and the like.   They are known for social activism, but also for never missing an opportunity to insult, defame, or otherwise lambaste and persecute people of sincere faith; while claiming, all the while, that they do not hate people or hate Catholics.   No, their website even states that they do not hate Catholics; but they go to great lengths to essentially explain that they hate everything the church stands for and teaches, but no... they don't "hate Catholics".   That would be a bit like saying "I don't hate you, I just hate the fact that your parents had a child that they raised who became what you are today."

Defenders of the organization claim it is a "real" religious order, which takes vows and has rules it follows; therefore it is not just a parody of actual nuns.  By that same standard though, one could claim that the KKK is not a hate group, but just another fraternal organization like the Masons.

No.  The "sisters of perpetual indulgence" is a hate-inspired group who mock the church and Christian faith, masking their hatred with a thin veil of social activism; so that they can subvert and attack people of sincere Christian faith.   How else can one explain the "sisters" and their "Hunky Jesus" competition for Easter?  Or their constant involvement in activities and protests which are dedicated to mocking and persecuting the churches?   Demanding the church pay for women to have abortions, demanding the church change its dogma on everything from women's ordination to marriage and baptism; but no, they say they don't hate Catholics.   The LA Dodgers have invited a hate group to participate in their so-called "Pride Nite", which first of all is an oxymoron because EVERY night in LA is "pride night"; but second of all is not only a slap in the face to the Christian community of California, but to anyone who is a sincere member of any religion.  The "sisters" are a hate group which is built on mocking and hatred of Christianity and Nuns, and I for one, refuse to support any organization which considers them to be a valid expression of social activism or religion.
